I am Ismail, a software developer in Jönköping. I came to software through the whole stack, roughly in the order a request travels: web front ends first, then the services behind them, then an Android app that kept a shopping cart in sync between phones, and once, for the fun of it, a game engine.

Today I sit at the far end of that journey. At Wexiödisk I write the C++ control software and the Qt touch interface inside industrial dishwashers, and the thin line of telemetry that lets every machine report back to the cloud. Firmware that has to be right in a kitchen at noon, and screens that work with wet hands.

What I like, in all of it, is the seam: the place where a screen meets a state machine, or where a cloud function meets a kitchen’s Wi‑Fi. That is where software earns its keep, and it is where I have spent the most useful hours of my working life.

I have a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Linköping University, and I speak Swedish, English, Persian and Turkish. Most of the drawings on this site began in a paper notebook, including the site itself.
